Resurrection of Fashion Trends

Cracking out the old photos is always a nostalgic experience but definitely cringe worthy. Looking through my old pictures most of the time I'm just thinking "what was I wearing and who let me look like this?" The funny thing is that a lot of 90s to early 2000s fashion trends are making a comeback and the reaction of "what are you wearing" is not the same. Fashion has evolved a lot since the 1990 and early 2000s so even the recycled trends have a modern spin on them that make them retro but still modern enough to satisfy the trendy fashionista.

The trends that have made their way back on the shelves and looking like they are here to stay are mom and high waisted jeans, fanny packs, scrunchies, bike shorts as well as cat-eye and circular sunglasses.

Cosmopolitan did a spread on the 30 fashion trends from the 90s that have made an appearance on celebrities in recent press and where you can get similar items.

Trends come and go but an era of fashion becomes a part of history. Fashion is recorded in history books, well more like magazines to either prevent them from ever happening again or to inspire a whole new era of fashion down the line.

Unfortunately for me, I took the quiz and my early 00s trend are dresses or skirts over jeans. I can't see this trend coming back anytime soon, but the fashion industry being innovative and sometimes unpredictable, you never know it might just become the next thing we see on the runway.
